Picnic at the Park

Today Brynt and I discovered Tumbleweed Park. We picked up Chick-fil-a and made a picnic out of it. The park is amazing, there are many play structures and little roads for the kids to ride their bikes. We ate lunch on a kid size table, which Brynt loved! It was a nice afternoon at the park, which I'm sure we will be doing a lot more often.

Brynt has learned that he can go down the slides by himself, all he has to do is go down backwards!

The Little Gym

Once a week I take Brynt to The Little Gym, it is a gymnastics gym for little kids. Brynt is in a playgroup with other kids ages 10-18 months. They sing songs, learn skills like doing a foward roll and a wheel barrow. They work on running and jumping, and even get to walk on a balance beam. Sometimes they play with a parachute too. Brynts favorite part of the class is when they get to play with the balls and the bubbles. Here are a few pictures from his class this week.

Friends and Family,

Im so sorry that I haven't been keeping up with my blog. The past few months have been very hard, as most of you know my grandmother passed away last month of cancer. Posting on my blog has been last on my list, and I am just now getting back to it. Brynt has been changing a lot lately. He will be 18 months in a couple weeks! He is running everywhere, and has been talking a lot more too. His favorite words are " ball" and "car!" and he also says hi, up, mama, dada, dog, cat, no. He has even started to put the words together. He said "Hi Dada" the other day when Peter came home from work. He also points to everything. When he see's a car he will point to it and say " A Car!!" and he gets very excited.

There is not much going on with Peter and I. Just our same routine. We are about to get our backyard landscaped, and we are looking foward to that.

Im sorry that I have been neglectful of my blog the past few weeks. We have been busy! It has been non-stop since Thanksgiving! Last week Brynt and I went to Colorado to watch my sisters Annaliese and Nicole while my parents went to California for a work confrence. We had tons of fun! We were excited to go home since we missed Peter like crazy! Here is a few pictures from the past few weeks...

While in Colorado, Brynt, Nicole, and I visited some of our family. We had pastine, (which is my favorite soup since I was little) and sandwiches for lunch. Then went to P.F. Changs for dinner. (Also one of my favorites) This is Brynt and I with my great grandma Lombardi. She is the sweetest! And a wonderful cook!

Halloween!

Our Halloween night was full of treats! Our friends Bill and Codi and their two kids Jonah and Adia came over. We had a delicious dinner then took the kids out trick or treating. Brynt was a dinosaur, Adia was a bumble bee, and Jonah was a transformer. Brynt got a wagon for his birthday, and it worked great to pull him and Adia around to all the houses. We were able to meet some more of our neighbors, and the kids collected buckets full of candy. Brynt tried his first piece of candy, which happened to be a tootsie-pop sucker. We had a great night.

Brynts first birthday was a blast. Peter's parents, sister Maddy, and brother Kyrk were in town. And his Aunt Paula and Uncle Curt came as well as Tracy. We had dinner, then enjoyed some cake, and presents. Thank you to everyone who came, and we missed everyone who wasn't able to make it.

My One Year Old

Brynt turned one this last sunday. Our friend Codi and her two kids came over to hang out at the park. Brynt and Adia had fun on the swings, while Peter and Jonah played basketball. I am still in shock that a entire year has gone by already. Brynt is still such a baby to me. It really does feel just like yesterday that he was born. This past year has been so great for Peter and I. We love watching Brynt grow and develop. Every stage is so exciting. I love being a mom.

Brynt had his first haircut today. Peter was the one who trimmed him up. And now he looks so handsome! There was a lot of squirming. But a few animal crackers and a water bottle did the trick to keep him still.

We bought a house!

Yesterday we bought a house in Chander, Arizona! It's 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bath. Perfect size for our family, and room to grow! Its in a wonderful neighborhood with a park just down the street for Brynt to play! We really love the home, and we are very excited! Although very sad to be leaving family and friends behind. Anyone is welcome to visit at anytime! We close on the house in only 17 days! August 26th. We are a little overwhelmed at all we have to get done in the small amount of time....we haven't even started packing yet!

Bree and I took the babies to Focus on the Family, they have a toddler room with tunnels, things to climb on, and fun games to play. Anna-Jane and Brynt had so much fun, we plan on taking them back to play again.

Peter got a job with CDW in Arizona! We are very excited to be moving there, we absolutely love it in Arizona. We will be moving to the Phoenix area in a town called Chandler. Which is about 25 min south of Phoenix. We have gone out a couple of times already to look at the area, houses, and for Peter's interview. We will be going out again this Thursday, Friday and come home on Saturday, hopefully we can find somewhere to live! We are a bit overwhelmed because we need to move in about 3 weeks! We have started going though our stuff, donating and throwing things out. But not much packing yet.... When we get back from our trip we will hit the packing at full force. I will keep everyone updated!

Very Sad News

Today was a very sad day. I had an ultrasound this morning, Peter went with me and our friend Emily watched Brynt for us. The ultrasound showed a baby that was no larger than 6 weeks old, and I should be 10 weeks this week. There was also no heartbeat. The Dr. said that I had a missed miscarriage. That my body still thinks I am pregnant, but the baby is no longer alive. If I do not have a miscarriage by this weekend, I will need to go in for a D&C. A procedure where I would have to go into the hospital, get put to sleep, and they clean the uterus out. It's hard on your body and is not an easy recovery. Please be praying for us, as this is not an easy time. We are heartbroken. We have faith that God has a plan for us, but its still very hard.

Arizona Trip

We recently took a trip out to Phoenix Arizona. Peter and Tryan played in a hockey tournament, and we also took some time to look at a few houses. We mainly looked in Chandler, AZ because that's where Peter and Tryan will most likely be working. We really liked the area, especially the subdivision called Fulton Ranch. Brynt went in the pool and really enjoyed splashing the water. We had a great trip.

These are just a few pictures of Brynt lately. He is getting quite the personality. He learned that he can scream really loud. (kind of like a girl) He screamed in the middle of church this last sunday. He will also scream when he gets excited. That is what is happening in some of these pictures. Pretty funny.

Brynt is also very facinated with hockey. He will stop playing with his toys to watch the game. He will have his eyes glued to the T.V. until it goes to comercial then its back to his toys. Very cute... he is making his dad and uncle very proud.
This is him on May 18. He just turned 7 months! Peter stood him up in the hamper in the laundry room. What a cutie!
Brynt just started to try some finger foods. In these pictures he is eating cookie biscuits. He also enjoys eating mashed bananas, and star puffs. I can't believe he is already to this stage.

Baby Shower

Me and my two friends, Bree and Gen, hosted a baby shower for our friend Sarah. It was a couples shower and was held at my house. We played games, ate some good food, and enjoyed each others company. The shower was a success and a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures from the day.

This past week Brynt and I met Grandma and Grandpa Ferguson, Grandma Lombardi and Aunt Lynette and Joy for lunch. We went to The Cheesecake Factory, and it was delicious. After lunch we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to relax and enjoy some time together. Brynt was all smiles and really enjoyed all his grandparents. What a great day!

6 month check up

Brynt had his 6 month check up on Monday. He is 17 lbs and 26 1/2 in. long. He is getting so big! His Dr. said he is growing great, he is at the 50th percentile. She said that Brynt can start eating solid food 3 times a day now. He also had some more of his vaccinations. He had 3 shots. I felt so bad for him. To sum it up Brynt is healthy and growing great, and looking cuter every day.

Amazing Husband

I have the most wonderful husband! Today when he came home from work he told me that my mothers day present was in our room. When I saw it I screamed! I was so excited! He got me the camera I have been wanting. A canon rebel XTI! This camera is amazing and takes great pictures. I can't wait to learn all the cool things I can do with it! I love Peter, he is so thoughtful.

Day of Hockey

Peter and Tryan have a hockey tournament this weekend in Denver. Thursday through possibly Sunday, depending on how they place. Thursday night was a long one. Peter's game started at 6, and after that we had plans to go to the Avalanche playoffs game. Peter's game went great, they won 8-1. Peter and Tryan both had 2 goals. It was a fun game to watch. After their game we raced over to the Pepsi center. The Avalanche were playing against the Detroit Red Wings in the 4th game of the series. The Avalanche were already down 0-3 in the series and the series is best of 7. So this game really counted. We had fun at the game, but the Avalanche ended up getting their butts kicked. They lost 2-8. It was a terrible game. The Avalanche is a much better team than that. So they are out of the playoffs, and we have to wait until next season to watch them play. Bummer.

6 months old already!

I can't believe my little boy is 6 months old! The time is really flying by. His personality is coming out more and more everyday. He is smiling and laughing at everything. His favorite toy right now are his keys, they are easy to hold and put in his mouth. (He is teething) He says MAMA but usually only when crying, and is trying very hard to say DADA. Right now that sounds more like AHHH and kind of like a yell. A few weeks ago we weighed him at home and he was 16 pounds! He has a doctors appointment May 5, we will see his growth progress then. Peter and I are enjoying every second of being parents. It is a lot of work, but so much fun! Peter plays on a softball team with our church, and last night he had a game. I took Brynt to the game, and he loved it! He loves to look around outside, and watch the players. He is also very friendly and will smile at anyone who gives him attention. Brynt is changing and growing everyday. One of the main reasons I am starting this blog. So that all of you can be involved in his life and know all of the little things we are up to.
